A lot of people look at the pile of dirty, some rotten, century old barn boards and just see rubble. Whether he is building a bed, end, sofa, dining or coffee table or adding accents to a wall, Justin looks at the pile and can envision a beautiful piece of furniture. He uses a little bit of elbow grease… well, let’s be honest, those that have worked with reclaimed lumber know that it takes a whole lot of elbow grease. Anyway… the end result is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, heirloom piece of art. Once he builds a piece of furniture he works his magic with his signature, multi-step finish that enhances the character and makes it silky smooth for easy clean up.

Images below are of a Queen bed he built for a local Bible Grove resident using salvaged wood from their stash, making it all the more special. Their farm has been around since the early 1900s. They don’t use their cattle brand anymore, so to keep the legacy alive we branded their bed. We used the df (Dunn Farms) as well as the date their farm was established (1903). These details along with the axe mark and notches are pretty cool, if you ask me. We love custom & we ship! Shoot us an email to get started. sales@redroostertradingcompany.com
