Hi Hilary, thanks so much for taking the time to comment. That's a great idea... I was looking around to see if we could find a silicone sleeve, but haven't had luck yet. Anyway... I think you are right, a silicone pot holder would work even better or maybe they have silicone mats? I will look around and see what I can find. Have a great day and keep grinding!! ~Britta

Hi. We have the first generation Camano coffee mill and we place it on a pot holder on our counter while we grind the beans. It is just a regular cloth pot holder (actually one our son made on one of those looms), but a newfangled silicone pot holder might be even better! The pot holder holds the jar steady and keeps it from rattling on a hard surface.

Hi Barb... Love to hear that you are enjoying your Camano Coffee Mill!! I never thought of a non-slip glove... I hold it like a baby so didn't think about that. We will definitely keep that in mind for the future. Love the idea and hopefully we can figure out something soon and add it to the line. Keep your eyes out and thanks so much for your feedback!! Have a great day and #keepgrinding

I have been using the Camano Coffee Mill since it first appeared, and was one of the first people to pre-order the Second Generation version. I am 76 years old and have arthritis in all the places that count for grinding coffee, and then some!

This little mill is just a joy to use, easy to adjust in every way. The grind is uniform, with no annoying glitches, smooth to operate, not to mention heartwarming in appearance! My one wish would be to have the container's lower half dipped in some sort of non-slip coating. No matter where I set it, the naked glass slips and slides a bit awkwardly. A non-slip coating plus wedging it between my knees would improve its performance tremendously!

Hope my wish gets answered soon... I'd be first in line to buy one for me, and one for a friend!
